Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026-10-02 · beta version

This beta version will be updated once the operator's details are published.

This policy explains what information the operator of Azimo ("we", "us") collects when running Azimo, why, how long we keep it, and what rights you have.

1. Scope

  1. This policy covers the Azimo website, console, API, command-line tool and MCP server (together, the "service").
  2. The operator's legal name, place of registration and address will be published on this page.

2. What we collect

Account data

  1. Your e-mail address, organization, projects and member roles.
  2. API keys, stored only as hashes: we never keep the key itself. Browser session credentials are also stored only as hashes.
  3. Audit events, such as when keys, projects and webhooks are created, changed or revoked.
  4. Payment records: the amount, time and status of each top-up and the payment reference Stripe gives us. We never see or store card numbers.

What you give us

  1. Your briefs, the files you upload (PDFs, slides, logos, product pictures), and the brand kits and templates you save.
  2. The plans, films, subtitles and covers we produce for you.

Usage and billing records

Job records, usage, charges and your balance statement.

Technical data

To stop abuse, sign-in requests are rate-limited by IP address. Those counters are kept only for the length of the rate-limit window.

3. How we use it

  1. To provide the service: planning, production, QA, storage and delivery.
  2. To run your account, sign-in and permissions, and to send sign-in links and service notices.
  3. For billing, accounting and refunds.
  4. To keep the service secure, fix problems and prevent fraud and abuse.
  5. To meet legal obligations.

We use your content only to provide the service. AI model and media-generation providers process it on our behalf.

4. Cookies and browser storage

This is everything we store in your browser:

  • A sign-in session cookie that lasts 7 days. It is httpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Strict, so page scripts cannot read it.
  • The azimo_lang cookie, which remembers your language for a year.
  • The axiom_theme cookie, which remembers Daylight or Night for a year.
  • azimo_pending_brief (local storage), a draft brief you typed on the home page before opening the Playground. It is used only within an hour and cleared once used.
  • azimo_balance_before (session storage), your balance before a top-up, so the console can confirm the payment arrived. It goes away when you close the tab.
  • PostHog product-analytics identifiers (a cookie and local storage starting with ph_), which tie the pages and actions of one visit together.

Product analytics and session replay

To find and fix problems and improve the product, we use PostHog to record page views, clicks, errors and network timings on the site, and session replays (the page structure and what was done on it). The contents of every input field are masked and never recorded, and camera feeds and video content are not captured in replays. When you are signed in, these records are linked to your account e-mail so we can find your session when you report a problem. Session replays are kept for 30 days. There are no advertising cookies on the site.

5. Who processes data for us

A few kinds of providers process data on our behalf, and only on our instructions:

  • cloud hosting and storage, to run the service and keep your files and films;
  • AI model and media-generation providers, to write scripts and generate voice, images and video;
  • e-mail delivery (Cloudflare), to send sign-in links and notices;
  • payments (Stripe), to process top-ups;
  • product analytics (PostHog, data stored in the United States), for site usage statistics and session replay.

Some of these providers are outside your country, so your data may be processed in other countries.

6. How long we keep it

  1. Uploaded files and films are stored so that we can provide the service.
  2. The files of a finished job (films, copies of your uploads and diagnostics) are deleted automatically 30 days after the job ends. The operator can change this period (VIDGEN_JOB_RETENTION_DAYS).
  3. You can delete a job's films and file copies sooner, in the console or with DELETE /v1/videos/{id}. Files in your asset library stay until you delete them (DELETE /v1/assets/{id}).
  4. Usage and billing records are kept for accounting. Deleting a film does not delete them.
  5. Account data is kept while your account exists.

7. Security

Traffic is encrypted with TLS, API keys and session credentials are stored only as hashes, internal access follows least privilege, and files and films are isolated per organization and project. No system is perfectly secure; if an incident affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.

8. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and you can object to how we use it. E-mail feedback@azimo.ai from your account address and we will act once we have confirmed it is you. Records we are legally required to keep, such as billing records, may not be deletable.

9. Children

The service is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect children's data. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes

We will post updates here with a new date at the top, and e-mail account holders about material changes.
