Expert interview & 9:16 Reels: skip the teleprompter—AI host Q&A to interview film

A future partner remembers a piece of work you actually did, more often than a list of titles. An AI host asks the questions and turns the answers into a script. You correct the facts and the wording. Production starts after that approval. The founder card, which starts from photos and facts, is a separate flow.

When the interview is the right film

The first time someone introduces you to a partner, a client lead or a collaborator who has not met you. They need to know whom you work for, not hear a résumé in calendar order.

Your focus only stands up with one example, such as the part you owned when a new team delivered its first client project. The example has to be work you can show.

You have not yet arranged the facts into card chapters, and you need the questions in order. What you see next is a script, not a finished film.

What to have ready before the conversation

One line of focus

What you do and for whom, in words the other person already uses. Not a string of titles.

One group and one problem

For example, a small team handing a proposal to its first client, stuck because scope and acceptance were never said plainly. Not “all companies.”

One experience you can check

A piece of work, a project, or the way you work. Names and numbers need permission. Without it, describe your steps and leave their results out.

A next step they can answer

A booking, an introduction to a colleague, or a 20-minute call. Use the contact you are willing to publish.

Four beats after you approve the script

The introduction shape is about 45 seconds. A vertical film can run from 30 to 90 seconds, following the script you approve. The public Fieldnote film is fictional, made from a text brief, about 74 seconds. It shows the shape of an introduction. It is not a recording of a real interview.

TimeBeatWhat to say
开场IdentityYour name, whom you work with, and the kind of job you take on. A title that does not help them understand you waits.
中段前ValueThe concrete problem you help them handle, in their words for the work, not the name of your method.
中段后EvidenceOne passage of experience or one piece of work. Say what you did. An outcome without a source is not stated as a result.
结尾ContactThe first step toward working together, and a contact they can actually use.

Pick the flow before you start

Facts already lined up: use a founder card

Photos, years and sources are ready. The card arranges them into vertical chapters. It does not interview you.

The story is still spoken: use this interview

The host asks along identity, value, evidence and contact. You see which lines were inferred, edit them, and then production starts.

The subject is a project or a product

Fundraising and approval use a project video. A product’s look and the way to buy it use a product video. In the interview, the person is you, not the plan.

Answers you can rewrite

Identity: “I’m Lin Zhao. I help design studios put acceptance criteria into the contract the first time they sign an outside client.” Do not open with a master’s program and three former jobs.

Evidence: “On a studio’s first contract, I replaced ‘until you are happy’ with two revision rounds and a delivery list. That is my own work record, not the client’s revenue.”

Contact: “If you are sending a first quote next week, send the draft and I will mark the lines that make acceptance vague.” The public Fieldnote film is only a fictional shape to compare with.

What the interview will not claim

It does not turn a chat into a testimonial, and it does not turn a goal into a result that already happened.

It does not produce the film before you approve the script. The review before that approval is not a delivery.

The public demo is not a customer endorsement and does not prove that conversations convert.

Questions before you start

Should I choose the interview or the founder card?

Photos and written facts: the card. A passage of work that still needs questions: the interview. Do not merge them into one generic introduction.

Will the AI host invent a story?

The script comes from your answers. Inferred lines are marked and stay out until you accept them. Clients and numbers you never said should not survive into the final script.

Do I have to appear on camera?

The interview produces a script and an introduction. It does not start by demanding a selfie video. Appearance and voice use material you have the right to use. A generated person is not described as you.

Is the Fieldnote film a recorded interview?

No. It is a fictional demonstration, about 74 seconds, made from a text brief, so you can see the shape of an introduction.

Can I still correct a fact after I see the script?

The review exists so you can correct facts and wording. After you confirm and production starts, a further change is a new production, not a silent swap inside a film already delivered.

Price and access?

Open self-serve sign-up (no invite code needed); the AI interview and script review are free. Production uses a prepaid HKD balance (from HK$20) at the limited-time HK$1/film trial price and charges only a delivered film that passes checks.
