From a pitch deck to an investor video

A fictional inventory-planning product, introduced through the problem, workflow and a pilot request.

Fictional demonstration · No customer material · English narration and captions · 1:14

1. The input brief

  • Audience: independent retailers who plan weekly stock orders.
  • Problem: sales exports, supplier notes and stock counts live in separate files.
  • Proposed workflow: import a sales file, review a suggested order, approve it with the buyer.
  • Evidence: a concept only. No customers, revenue, accuracy or time savings are claimed.
  • Ask: discuss a small pilot with one store and one category.

2. Submitted script and delivered transcript

This is the full delivered caption text, checked word for word against the submitted English script. The opening narration and on-screen labels disclose the demonstration.

This is a fictional demonstration, not a customer success story. Meet ShelfSignal, a concept for independent retailers planning their next stock order. Today, the buyer may have a sales export in one window, supplier notes in another, and a separate stock count on the desk. Before making a decision, someone has to put those facts together. ShelfSignal proposes one reviewable workflow. Import the sales file. Look at the suggested order alongside the assumptions. Then let the buyer approve or change it before anything is sent. The concept is about making the decision visible, not promising perfect forecasts. There are no customer results or revenue figures in this demonstration. A sensible next step is a limited pilot: one store, one category, and an agreed way to compare the recommendation with the buyer's decision. That is the conversation this pitch asks to start.

Observed production time

All three demos used the same explainer workflow, with English text, a 75-second limit and a 16:9 frame. The time shown runs from resubmission after an API compatibility fix to completed delivery. It excludes preparing the brief and the initial failed attempt, and is not a speed guarantee. The web file is resized and compressed without editorial cuts.

These examples demonstrate communication structure, not customer growth or business outcomes. The founder example is also a text-based narrated explainer, not a cloned person or an expert-interview film. Self-serve sign-up and free material analysis are open; once confirmed, production settles per delivered film from your prepaid HKD balance (limited-time trial price: HK$1/film).
